North Dakota park fees waived for vets on Memorial Day
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The state Parks and Recreation Department says fees will be waived for all military veterans and current personnel at the state's 13 parks on Memorial Day.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The state Parks and Recreation Department says fees will be waived for all military veterans and current personnel at the state's 13 parks on Memorial Day.
Parks director Mark Zimmerman says annual parking fees also will be waived at state parks for military personnel who have a disability of at least 50 percent.
Officials say disabled veterans must submit a letter of disability to receive the waiver.
