FRYBURG, N.D. (AP) — A company planning the first oil patch crew camp in western North Dakota's Billings County says it should be finished by late August.
The Billings County School Board voted a year ago to sell seven acres to Louisiana-based Energy Resource Group, which plans to turn the old Fryburg school into a 200-unit lodging facility for workers. The County Commission approved a permit last July giving the company the go-ahead to build.
ERG Chief Operating Officer Marc Barra tells The Dickinson Press (http://bit.ly/KrZaAo) that the company's plans ran into some snags last year but that ERG plans to renew the county permit and secure a construction contract.
