For the first time since 2001, we would have a non-Red River state singles tennis champion, as EDC champ Karen Moe of South took on St. Mary's Caitlin Bakke.
After dropping the first set, Moe rallies back with a series of backhand finishes. She claims set two, 6-3.
We'd go to a third, where Moe fell behind early, trailing 3-2, but took the final 4 games of the set to win 6-3 and take the match.
