Moorhead city staff cleaning up interstate medians

The Moorhead Streets Department picked up trash along I-29.
Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Moorhead city staff hoping for help cleaning up the grassy area near the interstate didn't have much luck this morning. The Streets Department picked up trash along I-29.
The city sent out a call for volunteers yesterday and were hoping for 10-15 people. The Streets Department says there wasn't too much trash to deal with.
Loren Fliflet – Moorhead Public Works: "It's not bad. We are just trying to get the city to look a little bit better for the holiday weekend that's coming up.”
They cleaned along I-29 from the river to the rest stop.
