Gulleson will make veterans benefits a high priority if elected

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Congressional candidate Pam Gulleson says she would make Veterans benefits one of her highest priorities if elected.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Congressional candidate Pam Gulleson says she would make Veterans benefits one of her highest priorities if elected. The democratic says she would urge congress to fund more research for PTSD and brain injuries.

Gulleson also announced the formation of a 30 plus person Veteran's advisory committee, but she said she understands there needs to be cuts in military spending. She says the right way is by reducing military forces overseas.

Pam Gulleson – (D) ND US House Candidate: “The Ryan budget includes $11 billion in cuts to veteran's benefits, in my view that's completely unacceptable.”

A recent forum communications poll has Gulleson well behind both Republican candidates.
