Mineral Resources Director Lynn Helms thinks North Dakota could be pumping more than one million barrels per day by 2015 if economic conditions are right.
Helms tells The Forum (http://bit.ly/MN96en ) that his predictions this week were interpreted by some to mean that the population could hit 1 million by 2015.
Helms says his population estimate was actually pegged for 2020 to 2030.
