Chet Brunelle, of Rugby, pleaded guilty earlier to two counts of assault resulting in serious bodily injury. Authorities say one victim suffered facial fractures and another victim has permanent scaring as the result of deep cuts.

The assaults took place in the early morning hours of Jan. 7.
