More than 100 Fargo students earn GEDs

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's a dream come true for more than 100 graduates, some of which have waited decades to be a part of. This is the 31st GED Graduation of Fargo Public Schools.

It's a dream come true for more than 100 graduates, some of which have waited decades to be a part of. This is the 31st GED Graduation of Fargo Public Schools.

111 students graduated this year, and more than 30 are taking part in graduation. The ages in the group range from 18 all the way to people in their 60s.

No matter your age, it can't stop those butterflies before the ceremony.

Larissa Whiteowl – GED Graduate: “Very nervous, but happy and excited.”

Reporter: “What are you nervous about?”

Larissa: “Walking and tripping maybe, I tried to wear flat shoes so.”

This is the first time the GED graduation was held at Agassiz.
