MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love has been voted to the All-NBA second team.
The league announced the results Thursday. Love received 365 points from a panel of sports writers and broadcasters. That was the third best score among forwards. Only LeBron James and Kevin Durant, who were the forwards on the first team, received more points.
Love received the highest score among true power forwards in the league. Voters are not asked to distinguish between small forwards and power forwards on their ballots.
Love set a single-season franchise record by averaging 26 points per game this season. He also averaged 13.3 rebounds per game.
He was joined on the second team by Clippers forward Blake Griffin, Lakers center Andrew Bynum, Spurs guard Tony Parker and Thunder guard Russell Westbrook.
