Michael Bitzer became known all over the state of Minnesota last year thanks to his great play for the Spuds, leading to winning the Brimsek Award. That hard work paid off today. Bitzer was drafted by the Lincoln Stars in the 2nd round of the USHL draft. The Force weren't too busy, having just 2 picks in the first four rounds, selecting Tomas Sholl, a goalie from California and Matthew Pohlkamp a forward.
