North's Thompson bouncing back after knee injury

The North Dakota state track meet is this weekend, and one of the great stories heading there is North's DeSean Thompson. The junior missed all of last season with a knee injury. He's come back stronger than ever. Thompson won 100 and 200 meter titles at the East Region Saturday and is ranked in the top 3 in state in both, so he can't wait for the State Meet.

Desean Thompson – North Junior Sprinter: “I love the competition and having people just as fast as me to go even faster. And I love just having all the people there watching the races, cheering, not just for me but cheering in general.”

Thompson holds the North 200 meter school record.
