Moorhead police investigating two car accident
Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Police are investigating a 2 car accident in north Moorhead that sent 2 young adults to the hospital.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY

Police say 20 year old Hipolito Maldonado was on 15th Avenue crossing Highway 75 when witnesses say he blew a stop sign, and was hit by a northbound car on the passenger side.
Police are investigating a 2 car accident in north Moorhead that sent 2 young adults to the hospital. Police say 20 year old Hipolito Maldonado was on 15th Avenue crossing Highway 75 when witnesses say he blew a stop sign, and was hit by a northbound car on the passenger side. His vehicle then hit an electrical pole. A juvenile in the car needed to be extricated from the car.
Police say they suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the other car was not injured. Police Maldonado faces several charges, including possession of drug paraphernalia.
