Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Some Fargo business owners may face a big decision on the future of their business.

Some Fargo business owners may face a big decision on the future of their business. Metro COG is studying Main Avenue between 25th Street and the Red River with a special focus between University and 25th Street. It's looking into updates for the road.

Metro COG says they may enhance or widen sidewalks, intersections, turning lanes, and add other features to help traffic flow better. One idea is showing an expansion of Main Avenue would force businesses on the North side to move.
