After an investigation that involved local, state and federal authorities, a West Fargo man has been charged with four felony counts of possessing child pornography. Authorities searched 24 year-old Brett Dauer's home and seized a laptop later found to contain child pornography. Each of the four charges carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, a $5,000 fine and offender registration.
