Berg Brothers finish intercontinental bike ride

Starkweather, ND (WDAY TV) - Brothers from Starkweather, North Dakota are finally home after a 15,000 mile bike journey to raise money for Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity.

Brothers from Starkweather, North Dakota are finally home after a 15,000 mile bike journey to raise money for Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity.

The Berg brothers left Anchorage, Alaska on August 11th, and reached the southern tip of Argentina just a few days ago. They crossed 2 continents, 9 countries, deserts, mountains and tropics. The brothers raised more than $12,000 during their journey, and are hoping to meet their goal of $60,000.

Isaiah Berg – Biked 15,000 Miles: “For us, we really just leaned on the random gifts and kindness of strangers. Sleeping with farm families, camping out with firefighters in Colombia.”
