Last month we introduced you to Detroit Lakes standout golfer Kate Smith, an 8th grader tearing up the Minnesota courses. The entire Laker team is having a banner year, yesterday breaking the school scoring record for a 3rd time en route to another title, as the team has high aspirations for the end of the year.
Cali Harrier – Detroit Lakes Head Coach: “The experience they've had most of them at state, as most of them 8th grade, 9th grade, sophomores, maturity level has definitely improved. I can see it on course, knowledge, management and the game. Everyone is back from state and we're hungry for more.”
