Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- When Bison softball coach Darren Mueller recruited his current senior class, he could have never predicted that this group would take him to the NCAA tournament every year of their careers. But, that's the case, after beating IPFW for the program's 4th straight Summit League Tournament Title.

The Bison gathered to watch the NCAA selection show tonight. Hoping to avoid drawing the number one overall seed for a 3rd straight year and they do. They'll play 8-time National Champion Arizona, the 13-seed, in the opening round down in Tucson, Arizona in a game broadcast on ESPNU.

Mueller says, "Kind of expected that we'd be going out that way Arizona

great tradition, great program, hell of a challenge for us but it's going to be a lot of fun....always know you're going to be in tournament, once you get

to this point everyone is good, looking forward to it."

It's the 3rd straight year they'll play a Pac-12 school in the opening game.

It will be televised live on Friday at 7 on ESPNU. The other two teams in the regional are Notre Dame and Hawaii. The Regional round is double-elimination.
