Crash north of Moorhead leaves one woman getting life-flighted

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- A 60 year old Perley, Minnesota woman was life-flighted this afternoon after an accident north of Moorhead.

Authorities say Paul Houglum was driving with his wife Carol on highway 75, just north of Georgetown, when Paul stopped for a dog in the road.

They say 19 year old Chelsey Schmitz then smashed into the back of their vehicle.
