Bison go onto win it, 12-7. But, they don't make up any ground on the League leaders, as Oakland wins game two, 7-6.
Two streaks came to an end at Newman Outdoor today; NDSU stopped its 3-game losing streak and Oakland's 9-game winning streak. The Big hit was this bases loaded double from Nick Colwell in the 2nd. The 3 runs put the Bison in front 4-1 and gave Colwell 40 RBI’s on the year.
NDSU up 6-1 in the 3rd, when brother Tim Colwell sends a rocket back up the middle. Max Casper scores the first of 3-runs in the inning.
Bison go onto win it, 12-7. But, they don't make up any ground on the League leaders, as Oakland wins game two, 7-6. The Bison can salvage a split tomorrow.
