Fargo man who lead police on a wild goose chase faces charges

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Fargo man faces charges after police say he led them on a wild goose chase.

24-year old Joseph Olson faces drunk driving charges, driving under suspension and fleeing police, just to name a few.

Police say they tried to pull him over about 11:30 last night, when he took off. Olson crashed the Lexus he was driving, and took off on foot.

Police taler found him hiding in a closet in a motel.

Court records show Olson is currently on probation after pleading guilty to breaking into a vehicle, making false reports to law enforcement and carrying a concealed weapon.

He was also charged in Grand Forks county with drug possession and endagerment of a child.
