Money could be headed to Moorhead for flood control projects
Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- 30-million dollars could soon be headed to Moorhead and Northwestern Minnesota communities, for flood control projects.
Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- 30-million dollars could soon be headed to Moorhead and Northwestern Minnesota communities, for flood control projects.
The senate has approved a nearly 500-million dollar public works bill. Moorhead' mayor says it will include more than 11-million dollars for Moorhead, alone.
If Moorhead does get the money, it will complete a 7-phase plan, to protect homes to 42-and-a-half feet.
MSUM could get about 2-million dollars for projects like roof and boiler replacement, and storm water distribution.
