Minnesota Senate approves the Vikings Stadium bill

Minnesota (WDAY TV) -- The Minnesota Senate has now approved a Vikings Stadium Construction bill. The vote came late Tuesday night.

Minnesota (WDAY TV) -- The Minnesota Senate has now approved a Vikings Stadium Construction bill. The vote came late Tuesday night.

The bill passed, 38-28. A conference committee is working out differences between this bill and the version passed by the state house Monday. The senate debate lasted 11 hours.

Today, lawmakers are working out a final stadium bill, to determine how much the team will be paying.

The house's number is 532-million. The senate's is 452-million. The Vikings have said their top number is 427-million dollars.
