Barnesville man struck by car and killed late Tuesday identified

A 45 year-old Barnesville man has been identified as the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a pickup truck Tuesday night near Downer.
Authorities say Jeff Lueck was struck about 9:53 PM on Highway 9 near County Road 10. The Minnesota State Patrol said Lueck was walking along the center of the blacktop road when he stepped in front of a northbound 2001 Dodge Ram driven by Jace Nosal, 16, of Barnesville. Lueck died at the scene.
