One, this afternoon caused the lock-down of two Fargo schools. The latest happened tonight at the Carlson Library in South Fargo.
Police responded to the threat shortly after seven. Officers say a 26-year-old male told library staff he had a bomb, then fled the premise.
Nearly a dozen squad cars showed up, some officers with guns drawn, and the man was taken into custody on nearby 25th street.
Police say the man was taken to Essentia Health for a medical evaluation.
Sgt. Chris Helmick with the Fargo Police says, "seems like he's new to the area, as far as the information I'm getting at this point. We don't have a lot of info on him, but we do know he might have some past medical history that might have contributed to this."
