Police Chief Scott Edinger tells The Jamestown Sun (http://bit.ly/J9MmRT) that 18-year-old Vance Mey escaped from the hospital's sex offender unit about 9:30 a.m. Monday. Officers responding to a tip captured him about 30 minutes later in a ravine.
