Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- Children ditched their electronics today and headed outside for a jam-packed day of activities.

It's the second annual Mini-Streets Alive at Robert Asp Elementary, in Moorhead. Children and parents played on playground equipment, and raced through an obstacle course. Plus, bikers hit the streets. All to promote an active lifestyle.

Some lucky children got gift certificates to purchase a brand new bike, or pick up some sports equipment.

The next Streets Alive is on July 15th.
