Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- With the way the Twins have been playing so far this year, this will be music to the ears of area baseball fans. The RedHawks held their first practice today.

The team is hoping to bounce back from the most disappointing summer in franchise history.

They struggled mightily in their first season in the American Association

finishing with a record under .500 for the first time ever. There will be plenty of familiar faces returning for the Hawks, but plenty of new ones, as well.

And that's part of the fun...seeing how everyone meshes together.

Carlo Cota, 5th year with RedHawks, says, "There's no better thing to do than to play baseball and get paid for it. It's fun when we're doing it for free and it's a whole lot more fun when you get paid to do it. But, more importantly, the camaraderie between teammates is something that you can never get at any real job."

The Hawks don't waste much time, they'll host St. Paul in an exhibition tilt tomorrow at 7, Before battling the Moorhead Brewers on Monday at Newman Outdoor.
