Final day of the North golf invite

Edgewood, ND (WDAY TV) -- Final day of the North golf invite. You've heard of the game Angry Birds? There was a real-life version at Edgewood today.

Detroit Lakes Karter Smith, he just misses the birdie on 11. Smith led DL with a 75 and finished tied for 7th.

Davies Trevor Swangler was one shot off the lead after day one. He lags it close on 18 to finish with par and a 75, good for 5th place.

Moorhead's Ben Welle shot 73 for the 2nd straight day. This great chip on 12 led to par. Welle finished one shot out of first.

Dan Cavanaugh from Perham shot 1-over 72. He sinks the par on 12. Cavanaugh would tie for medalist honors with Shanley's Cam Hager.

Both guys finished the 2 day tourney 3-over par. Moorhead won the team title by 8 shots over Shanley. West Fargo was 3rd, Detroit Lakes 4th.
