Vikings open up their rookie camp

Minnesota (WDAY TV) -- The Vikings opened their rookie camp this morning at Winter Park, plenty of attention focused on the two first rounds picks Matt Kalil and Harrison Smith.

But the two players that should be getting a lot of looks are the two wide receivers Minnesota took from Arkansas, Jarius Wright and Greg Childs, who have known and played together almost since birth!

Vikings Head Coach, Leslie Frazier, says, " I know, when they got in last night, I was talking to him. It's amazing to go from elementary school, middle school, high school, college, then teammates in the pros. They are great friends, as you would expect, and tremendous players. They reminded me, "hey coach! We've always been winners everywhere we've went." And I said, "hallelujah!" We'll take that! Bring some of that with you."

The Vikings have brought in nearly 70 players to look at, Frazier also noted that 3rd round corner Josh Robinson grabbed his attention with his speed.
