American Crystal Sugar and the workers union may be headed back to the bargaining table next month, but union leaders say they're not expecting much from the meeting. They say they're still prepared to negotiate, despite American Crystal Sugar executives saying their final offer is still their final offer.

American Crystal Sugar spokesman Brian Ingulsrud said today the company has always honored the mediator's meeting requests, but they don't plan to change their offer, which they feel is attractive.

Roger Delage – Bakery Union President, Crookston: “We've spent the past few days since we heard about the meeting preparing to negotiate but from what I'm being told now, it doesn't really sound good.”

The meeting is scheduled for June 8th.
