UND hockey team parts ways with assistant Eades

Just a couple weeks after Dave Hakstol signed a six year extension to remain the head coach of the UND hockey team, he's parting ways with his top assistant.
Hakstol announced today that Cary Eades would not have his contract renewed for the upcoming season. Eades just interviewed and was a finalist for the top spot at MSU Mankato, but Hakstol says that did not factor into this decision.
Eades says he's already received plenty of calls about job offers, Hakstol says there's no timetable to hire a new assistant.
