As people in Wadena, Minnesota continue to rebuild the community following the tornado two years ago, they got a little help from around today. As part of a state program called Youth Build, more than 30 high school age students from around Minnesota came to Wadena, Minnesota this afternoon to help with the ongoing rebuild effort in the community.

The Youth Build program teaches students job and people skills to teens that do not fit into the common classroom teaching mold. This group of teenagers from Perham helped beautify a playground and shelter area near ground zero.

Tyson Splane – Perham Student: “I can't believe it got this far we are doing a small part and people care about it shows we care too.”

The Youth Build Program targets teenagers who are at risk of not completing their high school education.
