Dragon basketball team adds Eastern Kentucky transfer
Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - It was a historic season for the Dragon Men's Basketball team, making the national tournament for the first time in 47 years, but Chad Walthall is losing seven members from that squad. Now he's been busy re-stocking.By: Dom Izzo, WDAY

It was a historic season for the Dragon Men's Basketball team, making the national tournament for the first time in 47 years, but Chad Walthall is losing seven members from that squad. Now he's been busy re-stocking.
WDAY 6 Sports has learned that MSUM has added Eastern Kentucky transfer Taylor Filipek. Filipek is 6'6, and originally from Willmar. He'll have 2 years of eligibility left, only averaging 1 point and 2 rebounds last year.
Also we've learned that Orono guard Brady Wohler had verballed to MSUM. Wohler is 6'4 and the 2nd all-time leading scorer in Orono history.
