FARGO, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota State University says the New York Jets have invited offensive tackle Paul Cornick for a minicamp tryout this weekend.

Cornick is a 6-foot-6, 309-pounder from Orono, Minn. He won a number of postseason awards with the Bison.

Cornick is the latest NDSU player to get a shot with an NFL team. Tight end Matt Veldman signed a free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, running back D.J. McNorton has been invited to the Washington Redskins minicamp, and cornerback Josh Gatlin will try out for the Minnesota Vikings.
