Concorida Celebrates 11th President

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- Concordia College is celebrating a new era of education.

Dr. William Craft is now the 11th President of the college. He's been serving since last July, but today, there was a ceremony to mark his inaguration.

Craft is a former English professor and dean of Luther college in Iowa. Craft says he hopes to guide Concordia to becoming a college of national distinction and global reach.

Craft says, "College is a communal act of faith, a heritage not to barricade or give away, but to cultivate, so that our graduates become responsibly engaged in the world."

Craft's colleagues and friends from across the country came to give him their blessings.
