Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Nearly 100 people were out on the track today,
raising money and awareness for the blind and visually impaired.
The North Dakota Association for the Blind held its 14th annual vision walk fundraiser in Fargo.
The walk will raise money needed to support the ongoing service programs of NDAB. Organizers also hope to raise the awareness level of the capabilities and contributions of people who are blind or visually impaired.
WDAY's own Eric Marts, host of the Saturday morning radio show, " Heros of the Heartland," walked for his first time.
Marts says, "my goal is just to, if I can be involved and be able to help, and maybe get the area to be able to remember it is important to help each other, it is the little things."
The goal was to raise nearly 6-thousand dollars today.
