BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — About 100 North Dakota National Guard soldiers are leaving for a year of duty in Afghanistan.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — About 100 North Dakota National Guard soldiers are leaving for a year of duty in Afghanistan.
A send-off ceremony is planned Sunday at the Bismarck Civic Center for the members of 818th Engineer Company, which is based in Williston and has a detachment in Hazen.
Gov. Jack Dalrymple, state Guard commander Dave Sprynczynatyk (sprihn-suh-NAT'-ik) and members of the state's congressional delegation are scheduled to speak. The ceremony starts at 11:30 a.m.
