It's never too early to start teaching kids the importance of giving. NDSU's Center for Child Development and Family Science Club and Fargo State Bank and Trust are doing just that.

Using funds from the bank's Pay It Forward Program, families, teachers and club members bought toys for children undergoing chemotherapy at Sanford Health. Kids at the daycare center helped create cards and decorate bags for the toys to go in. A nurse says the kids will really appreciate the toys.

Carlie Richardson – Pediatric Oncology Nurse: “So excited, I mean the kids spend a lot of time with us and it gives them something to do and it shows them that they're not alone and people care.”

The toys will be handed out over time.
