BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) — Nineteen people have been charged nearly four months after groups of young people tore through the Mall of America the day after Christmas.

The Star Tribune (http://bit.ly/I5pPbv ) reports the charges include rioting, disorderly conduct and trespassing.

According to criminal complaints filed last week, a fight among a small group started the roaming mall disturbance on Dec. 26. Twelve people were initially arrested during the incident.

Bloomington Police Deputy Chief Rick Hart says the melee was not organized ahead of time and that social media was not used.

Of those charged, eight are adults and 11 are juveniles. Those charged lived in St. Paul, Minneapolis, Columbia Heights, Burnsville, Roseville and Ramsey.
