Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - You find a wallet with lots of cash and credit cards on a sidewalk. Do you return it? Or go on a spending spree?
When 8th Grader Paxton Franke found a wallet walking home from school he didn't think twice. He ran back to Discovery Middle School and handed it to the student resource officer, but the story doesn't end there.
Paxton is the victim of the degenerative Stargardt Disease. He's legally blind and what sight is left is mostly reduced to his peripheral vision and now because of one very grateful wallet owner, he's 50-dollars richer.
PAXTON FRANKE - Received Reward: “I'm sure we've all lost something, it's always awesome to get it back. I wouldn't want to lose my wallet for good, I would like it back.”
Franke says his vision, although limited, has stabilized for the time being.
