One day after recording her first career no-hitter, Whitney Johnson was solid again. She allowed just 4 runs in 6 and a third innings, but only 1 of them was earned.
The Bison women have some power, in the 5th, one on for Jamie Gay who sends this ball screaming over the fence, it scores 2 for a 4-1 Bison lead.
But, UMKC forced it into extras, and in the 12th inning, Marlee Maples hit a 2-run homer to give the Kangaroos a 6-4 win. The 12 innings ties a record for the longest game in Bison history.
