Fargo man leads police on a 24 mile high speed chase
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Fargo man is in custody, after leading police on a high speed chase for more than 24 miles and then crashing near Langdon.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Fargo man is in custody, after leading police on a high speed chase for more than 24 miles and then crashing near Langdon.
Police tried to stop 52 year old James Strickland around 8:30, but he sped away northbound on Highway 1.
During the pursuit he rear-ended a squad car, totaling the vehicle and sending the deputy-inside to the hospital.
Strickland eventually drove into the water at Mount Carmel Dam, about 12 miles North of Langdon.
