Fargo woman faces charges after using her car as a weapon

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Fargo woman is facing serious charges, after police say she used her car as a weapon, and intentionally ran into 3 people.

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Fargo woman is facing serious charges, after police say she used her car as a weapon, and intentionally ran into 3 people.

23 year old Sumaya Hassan was arrested for aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. Police say it happened in the parking lot of Holy Cross Church in West Fargo, around 2 yesterday afternoon.

Two groups of people got into a fight, as it escalated, Hassan got into her car and hit the victims. Witnesses are still being questioned, and police are looking into adding more charges.

Detective Tim Runcorn with the West Fargo Police says, "most of the investigation is going to continue on, however tomorrow we are going to have a meeting with the State's Attorney's Office to discuss what all of the charges are going to be."

The three victims were taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
