BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A new $300,000 stage is planned at the Sleepy Hollow Theatre and Arts Park in Bismarck.
The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/IExgT7) that the park board gave the nonprofit approval to seek bids. The Sleepy Hollow group uses the property through a long-term lease with the park district.
Theater executive director Susan Lundberg says $200,000 has been raised for the project through donations, and supporters are trying to find $100,000 more.
Lundberg says work on the stage will start after the summer theater season ends in August.
