People getting a tattoo in Minnesota will be able to donate blood sooner than they used to. The Minnesota Red Cross expects hundreds of more donors to give blood each year because a waiting period has been lifted. People used to wait 12 months under the old rule. A new law in Minnesota requires all body art technicians be licensed, and so the Red Cross lifted the waiting period. The Red Cross says an additional one thousand donors are expected across the state.
