BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota woman has been sentenced to 21/2 years in prison for dealing marijuana and recruiting juveniles to help her in the operation.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota woman has been sentenced to 21/2 years in prison for dealing marijuana and recruiting juveniles to help her in the operation.

Francene Azure, of New Town, was charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver marijuana, and three counts of using a person under 18 years of age in a drug operation.

Authorities say the conspiracy took place from September 2009 through June 2010 on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.

Azure allegedly recruited the juveniles to package pot for sale and count money.
