Area ministers and pastors are learning from military chaplains about how best serve military families in their congregation. Both army and air National Guard chaplains provide spiritual care and guidance to military personnel and their families.
Chaplains give service men and women an opportunity for open and honest one on one communication. The National Guard says there is a shortage of chaplains in the military and they are always looking for more members.
Lt. Colonel David Johnson – North Dakota Chaplain: “And if we have somebody that is there that can help build that foundation, that's going to help with everything.”
There will be another Clergy Day training session May 3rd at Camp Grafton in Devils Lake.
