A proposal to raise hunting and fishing license fees is on hold in the Minnesota Senate. Lawmakers tabled the bill. They couldn't reach agreement of adding language to a similar bill in the house. That amendment would have eliminated conservation fishing licenses. The DNR says higher fees are needed to avert budget cuts.
