The post office has been busier in years past. Fargo Postmaster Greg Johnson says there was five to seven times more customer traffic on tax day about 10 years ago. Electronic filing has changed all that.

Johnson says he's seeing a $4-5 million dollar drop in first class mail revenue from 7 years ago, but some people still file the old fashioned way.

Greg Johnson – Fargo Postmaster: β€œIt'll be a little busy, there will be people coming in right up until midnight, we already had several calls, asking about when they can mail the last of their returns so.”

Johnson says the demand for standard mail and package services are still strong.
