Melissa Dronen didn't expect H&R Block to be part of her vacation plans.
Melissa Dronen – Last Minute Filer: "It's just a slight mishap on my end."
She's a procrastinator by nature and before she knew it, it was April 17th and her taxes weren't done.
Melissa Dronen: "I think I caused a little unnecessary rush with myself."
Dronen isn't the only one to wait until the last day to file.
Nancy Hudobah – H&R Block Tax Advisor: "Well the people that owe, they drag their feet and they're the ones that come in at the end and the people that are more difficult."
Putting off your taxes may put you in a bind.
Nancy Hudobah: "We do run into a problem that has to be researched that we're gonna have to file an extension possibly or they're not going to file they're return."
Dronen's may have waited until the last day, but her taxes were still filed on time.
Melissa Dronen: "A nice celebratory breath I will be taking."
Now she can go back to enjoying her vacation.
You have until midnight to file your taxes electronically or drop them off at the downtown and Prairiewood post offices in Fargo.
